Scores killed in fire in Kenyan slum

A gasoline pipeline exploded in a slum in Kenya’s capital city of Nairobi, killing at least 60 and injuring dozens of others.
Bodies lay in a river at the scene of a fire in a slum near the industrial area in Nairobi. Although a death toll has not yet been confirmed, a local media outlet reported that more than 100 people were burned to death and a similar number were taken to area hospitals after a gasoline fire, thought to be ignited by a cigarette butt, broke out in a densely populated slum in the Kenyan capital.
