Sao Paulo, Brazil - The world will be watching a lot of beautiful women compete tonight in the 2011 Miss Universe pageant. Stunning beauties from around the world will go head to head to compete for the title of Miss Universe 2011 - quite an honor all over the world.
In total, 89 beauty queens will be vying for the 2011 Miss Universe crown as competition set to open in Sao Paulo.
The judges this year include Connie Chung, Vivica Fox, Adrienne Maloof, Amelia Vega, Farouk Shami, Lea Salonga, Italo Zanzi, and Brazilian-born Victoria's Secret model Isabelli Fontana and more
Contestant of the pageant will be judged in three categories, including swimsuit, evening gown and interview."Grupo Bandeirantes is delighted that we have reached an agreement with the Miss Universe Organization to host the Miss Universe 2011 pageant in Sao Paulo, Brazil," said the network's president, Joao Carlos Saad.
Shamcey Supsup, who is representing the Philippines, is the fan-favorite #1 with just over 2 million votes. The second and third spots are held by Miss Venezuela, Vanessa Goncalves, and Miss Mexico, Karin Ontiveros.
Whatever country being cheered for as the pageant commences, there will be a lot of beauty - inner and outer - to see this year for the Miss Universe Pageant 2011.
